Wearable Computing: Picking and sequencing with xBand

Multi-order picking for kitting bins, for example, has been augmented by RFID-based picking recognition. The Ubimax xBand also assists the work process. When components are picked from a box, the system uses RFID technology for the picking detection. When the worker reaches into the right box, which is also labeled with an RFID tag, at the right time, the work step is confirmed.
