As part of the succession, Nikolaus Külps, Chief Executive Officer of Schnellecke Logistics SE, decided to expand the COO role to include the technology focused areas of IT and digitization as well as automation. “With his extensive expertise in both the automotive industry and other industries, Michael Schütrumpf will provide important momentum and help set the course on our path of diversification,” says Külps. The company’s promise to continuously take its customers’ logistics to the next level as a reliable partner is long standing practice for the experienced Schütrumpf. He worked at Syncreon and DP World from 2005. From 2009 to 2012, he was responsible for business development for Syncreon’s automotive division. As Vice President Operations, he then led this division from 2016, first in the EMEA region, in 2018 also in APAC, and later the global business. After DP World acquired Syncreon, Schütrumpf served from 2022 as Chief Operating Officer for contract logistics in Europe.
Under the leadership of Nikolaus Külps, Michael Schütrumpf and his fellow board members Lars Otte, Chief Business Development Officer, and Dr. Klaus van Marwyk, Chief Financial Officer, will guide Schnellecke Logistics SE in the future.
