We are delighted to announce that Dirk Lukat will join Schnellecke Logistics as Vice President Asia Region, effective July 1, 2026.
With more than 30 years of international logistics experience, Dirk Lukat brings extensive expertise in contract logistics, air and ocean freight, project logistics, and trade fair and specialized logistics. Throughout his career, Dirk Lukat has held leadership positions in Germany, Singapore, Vietnam, India, Japan, and Korea, successfully leading multicultural teams in a global business environment.
Together with Sven Virgens, Dirk Lukat will lead the Asia region and report to CTOO Michael Schütrumpf. Dirk Lukat’s focus will be on strengthening our commercial activities and accelerating business growth in Southeast Asia, one of the most strategically important growth markets for Schnellecke Logistics.
Most recently, Dirk Lukat served as EVP Contract Logistics Germany & Switzerland at DB Schenker. Prior to that, Dirk Lukat served as CEO of DB Schenker Korea, where he played a key role in expanding the business and further developing the company’s contract logistics operations.
