Strong start in Berlin at JDE Peet’s: 95.3 percent in the first IFS Logistics certification

In its first year of operations at the Berlin site of JDE Peet’s / Jacobs Douwe Egberts, Schnellecke Logistics achieved 95.3 percent in its initial IFS Logistics certification – earning “Higher Level” status at the first attempt.

Since September 2025, Schnellecke Logistics has been responsible for key areas of plant and supply logistics in Berlin – from goods receipt, storage and production supply to goods dispatch, inventory management and special processes. Schnellecke Logistics also already serves the food industry and contributes FMCG expertise across the consumer goods sector, extending beyond Food & Perishables.

IFS Logistics certification assesses compliance with particularly stringent requirements for food safety, hygiene, traceability and reliable process control. Achieving Higher Level at the initial certification is exceptional and confirms the consistent efforts of the local teams.

“We are very satisfied with our collaboration with Schnellecke Logistics. The team is reliable, solution-oriented and works in a spirit of partnership. Achieving Higher Level at the initial certification is an impressive accomplishment and confirms the quality of our joint work.”

Svenja Casais, Planning and Logistics Manager Berlin, JDE Peet’s
