As "green lungs," trees and forests are indispensable for environmental and climate protection, as they bind CO2, provide clean water, and offer an important habitat for many animal species. It is therefore entirely in line with our corporate group's commitment to a sustainable world that the Schnellecke Logistics Puerto Interior team, Silao, and the "Reforestamos México" association jointly launched a campaign to reforest the "Sierra de Lobos" nature reserve in September 2022. Around 181 bird, 39 reptile, and 34 mammal species live here on an area of 127,058 hectares. The area is also of crucial importance for the region's groundwater. The aim is to plant a tree for every employee from all areas of our plant - a total of 700 on around 10,000 square meters.
