Almost 190 children have been using the playground at the St. Christophorus-Haus children and family center every day for many years. A renovation was therefore urgently needed. 18 managers from Schnellecke Logistics took on this challenge in the summer of 2023. The motto of the project was "Preserving and improving the tried and tested, creating new spaces.“ The children, parents, and employees of the daycare center took part in guided tours of the construction site during the work. Their wishes were taken into account as much as possible. The playground was given a new sand, water, and marble run, as well as an area for practicing balance and coordination. A circle of benches and a separate area for children under 3 were also created. Existing play equipment was renewed and made more attractive.
