Michael Schütrumpf becomes new Chief Technology and Operations Officer at Schnellecke Logistics SE

On January 1, 2025, Michael Schütrumpf will take over the position of Chief Technology and Operations Officer (CTOO) at Schnellecke Logistics SE, succeeding Andreas Wagner, Chief Operating Officer (COO). Andreas Wagner, who will take his well-deserved retirement at the end of February 2025, deserves great thanks for his many years of impetus and the successes he has achieved for the company.

(Wolfsburg, 11/18/2024) As part of the replacement, Nikolaus Külps, Chief Executive Officer of Schnellecke Logistics SE, has decided to expand the COO role to include the technology-oriented areas of IT & digitalization and automation. “With his extensive expertise in the automotive industry as well as in other industries, Michael Schütrumpf will provide important impetus and set the course for our diversification,” says Külps. The company's customer promise to continuously take its customers' logistics to the next level as a reliable partner is a long-standing practice for the experienced Schütrumpf. He has been with Syncreon / DP World since 2005. From 2009 to 2012, he was responsible for the business development of Syncreon's automotive division. As Vice President Operations, he was then responsible for this division from 2016, initially in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East & Africa), followed by the APAC region (Asia Pacific) in 2018 and finally the global business. Following the takeover of Syncreon by DP World, Schütrumpf has been responsible for the Contract Logistics division in Europe as Chief Operating Officer since 2022.

Under the leadership of Nikolaus Külps, Michael Schütrumpf and his Management Board colleagues Lars Otte, Chief Business Development Officer, and Dr. Klaus van Marwyk, Chief Financial Officer, will manage the fortunes of Schnellecke Logistics SE in the future.
